About Us

Open Gates Resource Center was founded in July 2020 by Dr. Bennie and T'nita Perry, a community advocate, pastors. Open Gates has reached countless lives by combating food insecurity and homelessness, actively reaching over 500 people each year. We distribute critical items such as clothing to the community weekly, host a weekly substance recovery group, and community giveaways such as Christmas toy drives, community Thanksgiving Feeding and back-to-school events. In addition to maintaining effective partnerships, we also maintain a strong resource pipeline to impactful referral partners.
